Jason Grubb was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Exeter Finance in February 2016. Jason brings 25 years of leadership to his position at Exeter. His most recent experience includes 11 years at Santander Consumer USA, where he served in leadership roles including President and COO of Originations, in addition to SVP of Servicing. Mr. Grubb also served as a Vice President for WFS Financial from 1998 to 2004, where he managed servicing operations. He also held key leadership positions in the U.K and the U.S. for the servicing operations Commercial Financial Services. Additionally, he led teams in the floorplan, audit, underwriting and servicing areas at Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.
Mr. Grubb received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma State University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Our Lady of the Lake University. He also holds graduate certificates in finance and telecommunications from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Grubb serves on the Vehicle Finance Board of AFSA.
Walt has held senior legal executive positions at public companies and top-tier law firms for more than 26 years. Before joining Exeter Finance, he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel for ACE Cash Express. He has also served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Hollywood Casino Corporation, a publicly traded gaming company. He has been a corporate/finance associate for both Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld and Hughes & Luce (n/k/a K&L Gates), and in 2005, was named “Best General Counsel – Attorney Staff 2-10” by the Dallas Business Journal.
Jeff Jennings joined Exeter in June 2016 as Chief Information Officer (CIO). A recognized leader in technology and lending system platforms, Mr. Jennings brings more than 30 years ‘ experience to the role, and is well versed in emerging technology solutions. Prior to joining Exeter, Jeff was the founder and President of Performance Group Corporation, a regional Business and IT consulting company located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that provides consulting services to organizations such as Bank of America, Bank One, Lomas Mortgage, GMAC Mortgage, Xerox Consumer Finance Solutions, Capital One Auto Finance, and Santander Consumer USA. Jeff received his Computer Science degree from the Texas Institute of Dallas.
Brad Martin was named Chief Operating Officer of Exeter Finance in February 2016. He is a seasoned financial services executive, having served since 2005 in leadership roles with Santander Consumer USA as COO of Servicing and EVP Business Operations during his 11-year tenure with the company. His experience also includes five years at AmeriCredit as a Team Leader within Originations and Collections. Prior to entering the consumer finance industry in 2000, Mr. Martin served the United States as a Petty Officer in the United States Navy. Mr. Martin attended Dallas Baptist University.
Brad Nall was appointed Chief Financial Officer at Exeter Finance in January 2017. He joined Exeter Finance in July 2012 and has over 25 years of experience in the consumer finance industry. He has held numerous senior roles during his career within budgeting and strategic planning, financial reporting, project management, business development, mergers and acquisitions, whole loan sales and structured finance. Brad also has a strong background in the areas of operations, risk management, credit and pricing, accounting, control and compliance. Prior to Exeter, Brad spent 12 years at Citi’s auto finance and personal loan businesses in various finance roles. Brad received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Illinois University in 1988.
Stacie Trier is responsible for managing Exeter’s enterprise-wide compliance management program and serves as the key liaison with regulatory agencies. With over 20 years of experience, Stacie brings an impressive background of both compliance expertise and operational knowledge, and has a proven record of driving compliance initiatives that achieve measurable results. Prior to joining Exeter, Stacie was the Senior Director of Compliance Risk Analysis for Capital One, where she was specifically tasked to lead transformative changes to the existing compliance program. She has led the build out and expansion of several large scale compliance management programs in auto finance, mortgage and retail banking. Stacie graduated Cum Laude with a BS from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Michelle joined Exeter Finance in June 2016 as Chief Human Resources Officer. She is a seasoned human resources executive. Prior to joining Exeter Finance, Michelle served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Santander Consumer USA. Prior to that role, she served as EVP of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources Information Systems. She also functioned as Payroll Manager for Drive Financial prior to her experience at Santander. Michelle attended Midwestern State University and received her Professional Human Resources certification in 2009.
Steve has almost two decades of experience in the subprime auto finance industry. Prior to joining Exeter, he served as Chief Credit Officer and EVP Pricing & Analytics at Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc. He successfully led the company’s pricing, credit policy, loss forecasting, and scorecard development for retail, lease and personal unsecured loans. Prior to Santander, Steve was Director of Credit Risk Management for DriveTime Automotive Group Inc., the largest used car dealer and financing company in the U.S. He has also been Director of Credit Risk Management for Capital One Auto Finance and was Vice President of Credit Risk Management for Summit Acceptance Corporation.
