We’re elated to share that Exeter’s Chief Information Officer, Michele Rodgers, was named to the “2019 Women in Auto Finance” list by Auto Fin Journal and SubPrime Auto Finance News. Congratulations, Michele!
The publications said they recognized Michele and the other leaders on the list because they “provide critical guidance and produce high-level results” for their respective organizations. Here at Exeter, that certainly describes Michele and her incredible contributions to our success. She has provided outstanding leadership to our I.T. department and employees throughout the company since joining us last year, and she is very deserving of this honor.
Beyond the significance of such an award for Michele and even the company as a whole, we’re proud of what this means in terms of equality and inclusion for women in auto finance. It recognizes we’re making progress toward fulfilling the ideal that anyone can make it to the highest levels of our industry based solely on their professional skills and abilities – and nothing else. We know we’re not there yet, but we’re getting closer every day thanks to the accomplishments of incredible people like Michele.
As part of the recognition, Michele was featured in a trade journal article that was published in September, and she participated in a panel discussion at an industry conference in November. Congrats again, Michele, and thanks for all you do for us here at Exeter Finance.
