The Human Resources Business Partner will Responsible for provide human resources consultation and strategic support to assign business units. The HRBP must have knowledge of various human resources functions, including employee relations and engagement, benefits, compliance, training, recruitment, and HRIS. The HRBP will utilize expert level knowledge and skills in applying the full range of HR methods, principles, practices and evaluative methodologies sufficient to advise on and drive the execution of all components of the employee lifecycle.
Job Duties:
Serves as a business partner by communicating communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
Administers various human resources plans and procedures for one or more assigned departments. Consults with business unit management in the strategic planning process and development of human resources strategies that support the unit's business needs.
Acts as a liaison to other human resources functions when necessary. Exercise judgement to ensure HR team meets all standards, practices, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate and support HR Managers in implementing HR programs related to HR and Business initiatives.
Provides advice and assistance to managers and employees in matters relating to conduct, performance, attendance and conflict resolution. Serve as an employee advocate and a primary contact for employee complaints. Coordinate investigations and make recommendations regarding appropriate resolution. Support managers in handling conflict and facilitating difficult conversations.
Assists supervisors and Partner with managers with on disciplinary actions while creating evidence files. Provides interpretation of policies and the applicability to various disciplinary action situations.
Assist with maintaining personnel changes and reporting in the HRIS system.
Participates in new hire orientation and processes various employment documents.
Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action plans and continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of current laws (federal, state, and local) regarding HR practices.
Develops or assists in developing Create and/or enhance written policies and guidelines procedures.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or related discipline.
Two (2) to four (4) years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources.
Professional Certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred.
Experience interacting with all levels of senior level business executives.
Experienced in the implementation and administration, of policy/procedure/practices.
