Individual contributor role responsible for administering and supporting Benefits, Wellness, and Leave programs across the employee lifecycle. This role conducts analysis, delivers employee and manager support, and partners with HR, HRIS, and vendors to ensure accurate processes, documentation, and employee experience. Works independently on standard and moderately complex program activities and escalates issues appropriately to senior team members.

Job Duties

  • Administer day to day benefits, wellness, and leave programs, including policy interpretation, routine data reporting, and analysis of utilization or trends.
  • Support employees and managers by responding to inquiries submitted through Benefits and Leave channels and providing clear, consistent guidance.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on benefits and leave processes, partnering with HRBPs, HRIS, and leaders to support consistent understanding and application.
  • Coordinate components of annual processes such as Open Enrollment, wellness initiatives, and leave program cycles; assist with Workday updates, testing activities, and employee communications.
  • Maintain and update employee‑facing materials including enrollment guides, leave guides, SPDs, and SBCs ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with approved program design.
  • Prepare recurring benefits analytics and reporting, such as utilization summaries, benchmarking inputs, or audit ready documentation, to support senior team members.
  • Assist in the collection and organization of data used for plan design discussions, vendor reviews, and compliance filings.
  • Support benefits compliance activities including compiling documents for 5500 filings, discrimination testing, and plan audits, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Execute benefits data integrity controls, including monitoring eligibility issues, reconciling invoices, and resolving routine file feed discrepancies in partnership with HRIS and vendors.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes by documenting issues, proposing enhancements, and contributing to workflow updates under guidance from senior team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in Benefits, HR Operations, or Total Rewards support.
  • Four (4) years of experience in benefits, wellness, or leave administration.
  • Progress toward, or interest in CBP, CEBS, or related certification a plus.
  • Working knowledge of benefits plan administration, regulatory requirements, and compliance processes.
  • Experience using HRIS systems (Workday a plus), including supporting benefits and leave transactions and testing changes.
  • Proficient Excel skills (v‑lookups, pivot tables) and ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills; able to explain policies and processes clearly.
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships across HR, employees, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
