Steve Zemaitis

Steve has over two decades of experience in the subprime auto finance industry. Prior to joining Exeter, he served as Chief Credit Officer and EVP Pricing & Analytics at Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc. He successfully led the company’s pricing, credit policy, loss forecasting, and scorecard development for retail, lease and personal unsecured loans. Prior to Santander, Steve was Director of Credit Risk Management for DriveTime Automotive Group Inc., the largest used car dealer and financing company in the U.S. He has also been Director of Credit Risk Management for Capital One Auto Finance and was Vice President of Credit Risk Management for Summit Acceptance Corporation. Steve received his bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
