Exeter Finance names customer sweepstakes winner

Exeter Finance LLC, a leading indirect auto finance company,announced it has named a winner in its Spring 2022 Customer Sweepstakes. The companyrandomly selected Jason N. of Northern Illinois from among the sweepstakes entries and awardedhim $10,000 for going paperless and choosing to receive his monthly statements electronically viaExeter’s MyAccount online customer portal instead of receiving them on paper via the mail. (Exeteris withholding Jason’s last name to protect his privacy.)Exeter conducted its sweepstakes during March and April urging customers to go paperless. It toldthem receiving electronic statements would help them eliminate clutter from paper bills, lessen therisk of fraud and identity theft associated with the mail, and reduce waste -- which helps theenvironment. In all, approximately 75,000 of the company’s more than 500,000 customers switchedto paperless billing during the sweepstakes.“With the significant upgrade we made to our MyAccount customer portal last fall, we now have auser-friendly platform that makes interacting with Exeter online easy. Customers can see theirstatements, review account information and make payments electronically. So, we think it makesmore sense than ever to give up paper statements and take care of business online,” said ExeterPresident and Chief Operating Officer Brad Martin. “We’re excited so many customers have madethe move to paperless, and we’re especially happy for our winning customer, Jason N.”Martin added that Jason shared his appreciation for the sweepstakes prize when he met with Exeterrepresentatives earlier this month. Jason said he went paperless to reduce the clutter from paperbilling statements. He also said he plans to use the $10,000 sweepstakes prize to pay off his autoloan. All customers who go paperlessduring the sweepstakes – or are already paperless before the contest begins – will be entered into arandom drawing and eligible to win the $10,000 prize.
